Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seow graduated with a Degree in Dentistry from Universiti Malaya in 1991. She was awarded the PETRONAS scholarship to pursue Master and Fellowship degrees in England in 1995. She returned in 1997 to serve as lecturer at Universiti Malaya. Later she was awarded the Commonwealth University Split-site scholarship and Universiti Malaya Study Award to pursue her PhD degree in 2005.
Assoc. Prof. Dr Seow has served as lecturer and senior lecturer in Universiti Malaya for ten years and currently an Associate Professor and Director of Oral Health Centre at the International Medical University (IMU). Assoc. Prof. Dr Seow is actively involved in continuing professional programmes to share her knowledge with fellow colleagues, she has conducted workshops and lectured locally and at numerous countres namely India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Cambodia and Korea. She has published in various peer-reviewed international and local journals.
She is the Honorary Publication Secretary of Malaysian Dental Association and Founding President of Malaysian Association for Prosthodontics. She is also Council Member of Asian Academy of Prosthodontics since 2004. She has special interest in aesthetic dentistry, dental materials and prosthodontics.
