After graduating from the University of Otago in 2001, Dr Muiz chose to specialise in ophthalmology in University Malaya and completed his Masters in 2010. Having worked as an ophthalmologist in various public hospital including the UiTM Medical Center, Hospital Sg Buloh and Hospital Angkatan Tentera Tuanku Mizan, Dr Muiz is experienced in correcting refractive errors through the use of LASIK and ReLEx SMILE. He also participates in medical studies, and is the current Vice President of the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology (MSO) for committee 2017 – 2019.
