Dr. Chin Kit Yi, born and bred in Subang Jaya, graduated from Penang International Dental College with First Class Honors in 2013. She brings with her a wealth of experience in hospitals, community and general dentistry, having served the government in Taiping General Hospital from 2013-2015. Now, she is back to serve her community in our Subang Jaya branch in the Mediplex of Subang Jaya Medical Centre.
Dr. Chin has a special interest in minimally invasive procedures, and to conserve tooth where necessary. She also performs cosmetic dentistry such as smile design, veneers, crowns, and bridges. She is constantly updating herself in the recent advances in dentistry to provide the best for her patients.
Dr. Chin has a vast knowledge in root canal therapy. Dr. Chin provides root canal treatment with the help of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (3D CBCT X-rays) and NiTi rotary instruments to enhance her treatments. Her technique is quick and precise, hence reducing patient’s anxiety on the dental chair, and ensuring the best outcome.
Dr. Chin is also a member of the American Association of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and had undergone training under the Maxicourse AAID. She has been mentored by the world’s finest implantology and she stresses the importance of restoring lost teeth, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Chin’s pleasant and bubbly personality takes away patient’s fear while receiving treatment from her. She has also been trained to give painless injections to provide comfort for her patients. She is calm, patient and also practices behavioral management for children during their dental visits. Dr. Chin has a great reputation as a family dentist.
